About Earbuds
Earbuds are basically a pair of tiny speakers that you wear inside your ears. At low volumes, they’re useful little devices. But playing loud music so close to your eardrums can cause permanent hearing loss.
Simply put, earbuds are small headphones that you wear inside your ear. Some, but not all, buds include a built-in microphone.buds are used for audio entertainment and communication. You can use them to listen to music, podcasts and movies.
There are two types of wireless buds: in-ear and half in-ear. In terms of sound, the fit of the bluetooth earphones provides a completely different experience.
Loud noise can damage the hair cells. When this happens, the cochlea can’t relay sound messages to the brain as well. Unlike damage to other parts of your body, inner ear damage never heals. Over time, as more and more hair cells get damaged, your hearing will get worse and worse.
Unfortunately, earbuds deliver inferior sound quality, especially when it comes to bass tones. They also don’t filter out external noise very well, so earbud-wearers tend to crank up the volume on their tunes, which can wreck their hearing.
